A fast-growing hoya, with robust leaves measuring up to 15cm x 7cm. Medium green with scant splash, foliage lightens while margins darken in bright light situations.
Blooms: Glossy, reflexed, star-shaped flowers in pastel yellow, 15mm in diameter, with hot pink corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel.
Sun exposure: Best in bright growing conditions. Flowers better under higher sunshine levels.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance:Â Low. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period (warmer months).
Special note: A Hoya kerrii cultivar introduced to the Hoya fam by Jadeite Garden. Warm hoya: best suited to temperatures between 21-35C.
